Since the President Obama took office, we have been inundated with Bush Bashing about the economy, the Afghan and Iraq" conflicts, and the economy some more. It's getting (or got) old really fast.
And now former President Clinton made some statements today about former independent counsel Kenneth Starr who has been keeping a low profile since the impeachment proceedings thankfully came to an end some years ago. Well, it seems that Clinton still has a score to settle.
According to a Foxnews.com article, Clinton said '“No serious, objective observer doubts that there was rampant, flagrant abuse of power” in those probes, Clinton said, adding that “a lot of the people who should have been commenting on it were stunningly silent.”'
Wether or not one agrees with how Starr did his investigating or his questioning, it was at least 8 years ago in a galaxy far, far away.
Starr has moved on and just recently accepted the position of President at Baylor University. Clinton hasn't accepted any new position (like he needs to anyway) and still enjoys his celebrity status. But he should move on.
It's understandable that we all might harbor grudges, but it's a much better person that can forgive and move on. It's classless to keep blaming others and bringing up old scores that are, for the most part, settled.
